Shelf life

Three years, unrefrigerated. Rotate it with your other consumables.

Heat

The oxygen is unaffected by heat. Stored in a hot vehicle, the water is still WOX.

Simplicity

Two ingredients. No allergens, no sugar, no caffeine, nothing to conflict with anything else in the kit.

Formats

Bottles for individuals. 8 L with a hot-and-cold dispenser for stations and base camps.

Cases, dispensers, and cold storage where you have it. None of it requires refrigeration.

You carry medical oxygen. This isn't that.

WOX won't be sold as medical oxygen and shouldn't be thought of as it. It doesn't raise inspired oxygen, it doesn't replace a cylinder or a concentrator, and it doesn't change a protocol. It is shelf-stable water that carries oxygen in a stable form. In a nine-person study at 3,776 m, SpO₂ rose about 2.5 points after 16.9 fl oz, with no placebo group.3 We'd like to know what it does in your conditions. That's what the Field Program is for.

How the Field Program works.

  1. We supply product to a defined group for a defined period.
  2. You log use and, if you choose, oximeter readings.
  3. We publish what we learn, name participants only with consent, and disclose that product was supplied.
  4. We don't pay for endorsements.
